Putting in A Bird Bath Heater

Using bird bath heater will attract more birds to your yard. A bird bath can increase the number and types of birds that are attracted to your yard. Bird baths are great for about all species of birds, while feeders are only effective for the birds that are attracted by the bird feed.

A bird bath that is shallow, having a depth of no more than three inches, is best for the birds. When buying a bird bath, make sure it is not too deep. Take some stones and place them in the bird bath to make it shallower.

You can do even more to attract birds in your garden by adding fountain to your bird bath. Birds flock towards the sound of falling or dripping water.

A birdbath with a non-slip bottom is best, because it is possible for birds to lose their footing on slippery surfaces.

Frequent water changes even with a bird bath heater are important which may be every few days or even every day if the weather is hot

If you place the bird bath on a stand or hanging it from a tree, that will make it difficult for preditors to scare off the birds.

Watching birds enjoying your backyard bird bath can be a pleasant pastime for you as well as for the birds. Therefore, youll want to find a place for your bird bath which will be easy for you to view from a window.

Your backyard birds will love you for it!
